Trail #610

Maxwell House

Hare: Eveready
Still not convinced. Well check our Eveready's scribe from the Erin Go Green trail.
Four virgins at the “no green beer” trail laid by Terminator. The luck of the Irish Hashers prevailed with no rain. Several hashers, however, felt compelled to party downtown rather than join the pack in search of green beer (never to be found) in shaggy (found) amongst the trails of Dishman Hills. Slob Knob coerced two lovely virgins to accompany him and a SpoCab dropped off a DC area military hasher, Red Hot Chili, who was accompanied by two of his military friends (and virgins to boot). The rest of the pack consisted of EverHard and EverReady, Okie Pokey No Smokey, Scratch, The Beast, Sweaty Behind, and our Irish Flyer New Boot from our Red Dress trail… totally decked out in everything green… having paraded with “that other group” earlier downtown. Unfortunately this new boot inadvertently left his debit card at a bar downtown and flew out before trail with promises to return as soon as he took care of the missing debit card issue. EverHard circled the pack and soon we were searching for marks… and headed to the De Je Vu… and right on by! Circling back again along the Appleway Couplet, trail led the pack up into the hills within spitting distance of the bar we’d just left. Virgin Check! On-on! R-U? On-on! R-U? On-on! This hound felt like she was being led by whistles more than marks, but on-on it was. Beer Stop at Savageland? No… beer stop at Poppy’s! With $6 pitchers it was an easy respite. EverHard wanted songs and encouraged the Beast to lead the pack in several choruses of the “Ya-Ho… Ya-Ho…” song. And who should finally stagger in all glisteningly sweaty??? Our sweaty green flyer! Good job following trail! And with that we packed up and Terminator led the pack along the railroad tracks and back to Mikes for circle… for many down-down’s. Hash hymn sung and talk of grease was ensuing when Party Stick arrived… late but still welcome. More Beer!
On-on!
Apologies for any attending hashers I’ve forgotten to name.
