Tale of Trail #629 or The Return to Tubs
It has been some time since the IEH3 rolled into Coeur d’Alene so many thanks to Sweaty Behind for making it happen. And we likely will have more trails with a growing base of North Idaho hounds. A happy pack of thirteen hit Hogfish to the enjoyment of blaring Loverboy tunes and a shadowy corner table. Hey as long as we have suds the pack is happy.
Trail flowed toward the lake after the first virgin check, which stumped us for a while. Hell, we couldn’t find a virgin. But the quest for beer must continue. Some nice yellow arrows here and a slick ally crossing there brought the scent to an Eagle / Turkey split. Now tradition has it that these are meant to split the pack to allow walking turkeys and soaring eagles to arrive at the same time, but again this is the IEH3. So while Trancid, NB Kat (could be named: Shrunken Pumpkin), Everhard and The Beast Masturbator sored Terminator, NB Allen (could be named: Tastes Like Shit or Black Head Rubber), Peeking Snail, and NB Machalla gobbled along.
All I can note is the eagles back tracked a few blocks and the rolled on down to Sanders Beach before encountering the Tubbs hill climb. BS was located up an off coarse steep trail to view the day’s history siting of old log pipes. As Sweaty rambled on about the discovery and how these logs likely arrived, the pack enjoyed PBR and orange food. Soon Eveready and Pussy Hat joined after their fun filled trail adventure. After some buddy checking, we realized that Yellow Fever Beaver and Sticky Stretchy Balls could be lost. Whistles were blown and maybe some technology was involved but soon they arrived and there was much rejoicing. Beers and stories were enjoyed, including Peeking Snail’s tale about an 80 year old man and his beloved chicken and Beast’s Hillbilly Hash experience in Virginia. A capsized canoe in a quarry lake at the forth beer stop along with mooning paint ballers. The Hillbilly Hash sounds like a hoot. Road Trip anyone?
With the last PBR emptied it was back to the venue for circle. Yellow Fever Beaver called circle to order after Teminator waited for the happy hour pitcher prices to begin. The auto hashing Peeking Snail and Sticky Stretchy Balls were honored with FRB and FBI. Beast and NB Kat for trail treasure. Pints of Lager in sued, Eveready provided a new song, and circle was closed. Well, you all get the gist.

Hashween is Saturday
On on ½ minds,
Another Hashween approaches this Saturday. So dust off those old costumes, dash to Value Village, or hit the Display House. We will gather for suds, conversation, fun, and TRAIL. Also a tradition of the IEH3 is to hold Mismanagement Erections. So if you are interested in a position voice up and let the pack know. But it helps that you really want the mismanagement position and are able to attend enough trails to be effective. Face it – it is more fun that way for all.
As for me I am glad to continue as Webmasturbator and Haberdasher. Heck I even have On On Feet Stickers ordered. Well let’s get to the important part.
