Tail of Trail #591

Attendees were Everhard, Everready, Terminator, Pilfering-Peter, The Mule, Partystick, Boner, Valenteenie-Ass, Cums-in-Spurts, and hare Pussy-Hat. Vallentenie encountered difficulties with freeway traffic and therefore she and C-I-S had a delayed arrival. To accommodate the tardy hashers, Boner stayed behind at the bar and then the three of them arrived at the beer stop (actually the second beer stop) via vehicle (NON-RUNNERS!!!).

Trail led the pack circuitously around the near vicinity of the bar. Thankfully Everready was there to prevent the wankers from expressing their feminine side at the chick check (since the other two bimbos were auto hashing). Then shortly, Everready was allowed to check suck at the wanker check. On past the softball players, across the railroad tracks, through new condo development areas, a brief respite at the “1/2 BS”, and eventually on around and back to the railroad tracks for the full service beer stop (beer plus orange food) – where our auto hashers joined the pack, as did the hare – and Pilfering Peter was back to “normal” as a train barreled by. He commented something to the effect that he’d never had a whistle that loud.

On-back to the bar and circle – down-downs awarded to the hare, backsliders, FBI (aw, come on… there was only one Bimbo on trail!), FRB, Auto-Hashers and a birthday dirge to Valenteenie… which prompted a bimbo from the bar to join the group for another birthday dirge because it was her birthday as well! Most of the pack headed down the road following the hash hymn for Chinese grease.

Well, shit the #575 Trail Happened. Thank “G” that the IEH3 survives after 23 years.

Few hashers made it, but this trail was a shiggy fun time.

Ahhh, People’s Park where you are greeted with “NO PORKING” graffiti on the parking lot barricades. Yes, that was our venue. What’s up with that? Nice that our bankrupt hash cash brought pre-lube suds before we red-lined, and had no funds. Who is our hash cash anyway and what the F*** happened. We were promised a show for $7, but I don’t think it happened. Crap if our Hare Raiser doesn’t buck up for the cause, what will we become?

Boner hustled out and trail began. Red marks lead to a nice circle jerk, but we ran it backwards. Guess it wasn’t a LIVE TRAIL??? Any how, we followed backwards and forwards until the pack found a true red marked trail through People’s Park. Oh, what ventures wait? Tribal clans, tent folk, or the cockery that the graffiti stated? Whistles blew and hounds followed through dirt, brush, and water. Yes, this was hashing shiggy, BABY! Oh, but it didn’t rain. You lazy asses on the couch missed out this OLD SCHOOL hashing trail. You should be shammed.

Yeah, trail led through some tent cities, a few stunned pedestrians, and some lost souls (all stranded on a dirt path-trail, carrying backpacks). Hmmmm? Thank the ½ mind upstairs that we had whistles. As no stabbings, kidnappings, or floaters occurred. Yet, there was that B-Stop near the Cemetery. But I digress, it took lots of lost searching, thanks to the locals that wiped out the marks and some splashing through Hangman Creek or delicate stone hopping to arrive at the BS. But ohhh, how sweet the orange grub and suds went down, down, and down.

The hare rambled to his BS vehicle out of the cemetery and we gazed at the clouded sky to Pink Floyd and then determined it was time to go. A slide here and a slush there, guided us back across the creek and apartment lights showed us the way.

Circle was conducted and damn, suds were drunk. Many thanks to Hare-Just Plain F*ckin Boner, RA-Terminator, Beaver, Party Stick, Pussy Hat, Legal Bondage, Anal Whistler, Beast Masturbator, Tale of Two Titties, Cums in Spurts, and Valenteenie Ass.

Visiting hasher Giggles Low ventured west and found the IEH3. Dressed in a camo-kilt, five-finger Vibram “shoes”, sweat encrusted straw cowboy hat, and an obligatory hash shirt this ½ mind was a perfect fit for the IEH3. Newly named Slob-Knob flung markings out of the Pit Stop in Post-It Falls. Trail ventured a strong two miles with two, yes TWO Beer Stops, through Treaty Rocks. But, ahhhhh no ORANGE FOOD. All hounds found it safely back to the Pit for Circle. Giggles issued forth infractions for learning Nerd Names and after the Hymn he enraptured the pack with a rendition of Yukon Pete.

Well what a wonderful Thursday Hashing Day it was. Nineteen IEH3 hounds gathered at Mike’s Welcome Tavern in the Valley for the 571st trail. We were blessed with Virgin Sully (yell, if the spelling is wrong) and transplant Ookie Smokey NO Poky (the same applies if I got your spelling wrong). You will need to ask her about her hashing tree, because it sounds more like a bush.

Scratch was missing for some lame excuse about loosing her a toe nail. Shit don’t you have nine good ones? Any who – hope she recovers well so we can see her smiling face and have her song knowledge soon.

As the dust clouds came and large drops of rain fell, Everhard ventured out to lay a splendid trail. Oh, did you know that Mike’s was just a four lane avenue away from DISHMAN HILLS. Oh Yeah SHIGGGGGGY BABBIEEEEE! So with some nicely marked arrows we ventured to the Shig. Spooner Boy and his ankle brace along with Beaver and his aging knee were, OVERJOYED! But as hashers they strived for the beer. Unlike you NO-SHOWS that want email updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (We have 80 on the list and only 21 show????????)

White marks were found after a count-back five and some hill work. Up and Down as the trail progressed which all ½ minds wish they could experience more often, but this was a Dishman trail. So it was vegetation, rocks, and that sweet smell of stagnate water that awaited. After a mini stop at the Hash Hold we were off to climb some more. A skip here, slip there, and an AH SHIT brought us to the Beer Stop venue. Ahhhhh what a view and it was nice to have an iced beer and orange grub.

Tale Tails were told and hounds hid their treasures as the pack ventured down. Except Legal Bondage who seemed to want to give away her Tong footwear? Crap did she actually pry it away from a severed foot? With no takers it worked as a nice Sunshade.

Uncle Pervey found his mother’s douche some where on trail. But with flowers in his hair, we wondered if he had a mother or actually was just deposited by a Meteor as he claimed foot size does not proportionately resemble a “Fireman”.

Boner showed up with a collector SPAM can which Sweaty Peti tested for authenticity. Yep, it was aged. So with all gathered, the Beast Maserbator conducted the Circle. Oh, he so loves being pulled back in as RA. Down Downs were swallowed, our limited song selection was sung and we enjoyed suds in the SUN, finally.

Good Trail – though it ended up longer than Party Stick thought it would be (his map was very small). We missed singing “Happy Birthday F…” to you. We have a couple of new transplants from Mississippi that attended… Kentucky Fried Failure (she is attending Gonzaga) and Slippery Dippery Cock (at least I think that’s what he said… either that or Slippery Dickory Cock).

Attendance included Boner (R-A), Pussy-Hat, Comes-In-Spurtz, Beaver, Anal, Legal, Ever-Hard & Ready, plus the two transplants I mentioned, and of course the hare, Party Stick. The last one in the door was Everhard so has been volunteered as the next hare – venue Mikes in the Valley near the Déjà Vu. The pack crossed I-90 at Idaho Street and had trouble with a check at the railroad tracks and it took at least 15 minutes to finally find the well hidden flour on true trail down the tracks to the east. The next check the pack had trouble with was back out on the road (I’m guessing 3rd???). Trail marks were eventually found by Everhard up in the wooded rocks and trails. Some of the pack tried “smart hashing” a bit and a spontaneous “Hash Hold” was called until the wayward Legal was finally found.

Trail finally led to the Spokane River where the hare was waiting with cold Kookanee, water and chips. The transplants wanted songs so we gave them “head” (so said), “I used to work in Chicago” and “Today is Monday…” With about three beers remaining, circled was called and vessels were produced from empty water bottles with the tops literally ripped off, thanks to Boner. By 9pm the back was on-in back to where Party Stick had his vehicle parked and everyone was transported back to the Falls in two shifts. The pack was circling in the parking lot and deciding on grease location when the Evers headed on back to Spokane. So that’s all I got.

16 hounds gathered at Studio K for our first Thursday trail of 2010. It would have been 17 but some virgin went back to change and he never came back. Oh, but there is always another trail. Buck up was deposited and many suds swallowed as the pack gradually ventured toward trail, which is a tradition of the IEH3, gradually getting our asses out of the pub and on trail.

The Ever’s were first out and must have got lost as we never heard a whistle or a sight of them. Maybe they were prospecting for the 567th trail in two weeks. Hope they are well and we see them again.

Virgin Hares Cums in Spurts & Homo Erectus went big and small with the checks on this trail. I guess that is the difference between a spurt and an erectus. Anyway, I was left thinking of an old Sunday School song entitled Deep and Wide – but I digress. Yet as always we wondered our way locating diagonal marks which suggested turns but ended up as straight On On’s, especially at some intersections. As all our hash trails go there were enough whistles blown to keep hounds progressing. But at times I think Beaver and Pink were left wondering what the F, as hounds went left, right, back, and forward.

But the trail actually made a nice repeating circle jerk here and there. Or is that more correctly stated as a Skate America Composite Figure Eight. Those flacks were here again this year, right? Thus the hares should be complemented on such a feat. Yet, I am concerned of the recent tradition of having an ABSOLUTE A – B TRAIL WHERE THE B IS A BS / CIRCLE. What happened to the days of a BS during trail and then the circle? Well I guess we need some hares to buck up and set things right.

Our circle was conducted in Homo’s yard as he didn’t want shit on the patio, I guess. We did have a future hasher observe the festivities and quickly named her “Make No Eye or Voice Contact”. Seems she was always calling for someone. Thus circle was held and the RA dropped his beer a few times. But we all cherished being hashers, having hares, and enjoying the fact we have a happy kennel.

The Pack wishes happy travels for Cums in Spurts and Valenteenie’s trip to VEGAS for Valenteenies 25th B Day.

Hash Camp Out 2009

It wasn’t an overly large gathering, but 14 made for a good party-sized group… a total of 15 when you count the couple of hours that Scratch showed up Saturday evening to bless the pack with Yucca and the hash flag before disappearing into the sunset. Attendees also included GM Everhard, Everready, Pussyhat, J-P-F-Boner, Party Stick, Terminator, Legal Bondage, Anal Whistler, The Beast Masterbater, New Boot Stephanie (now named, but more on that later), Pink Pecker, Valenteenie Ass, Uncle Pervy and beer meister Chia Crack. We missed the rest of you!

Friday night was spent establishing tent sites, the group site and most importantly the beer keg site. The group as a whole was up around the campfire till way past this hasher’s bed time. It’s amazing how quickly the hours slip away when there is a keg of PBR, a keg of IPA and a jug of Crunk Juice to keep everyone hydrated. Pink Pecker organized “games”, one of which included a pair of gloves glued to a pair of beer glasses which were then duct-taped onto the wearer’s wrist… not to be removed until a full pint of PBR and a full pint of IPA were completely consumed… just ignore that itch because you cannot get to it with beer glasses securely strapped to your hands. The Beast dubbed them “Edward Beer Gloves”. Every male hasher completed his turn at wearing the beer-glass-gloves; while every female hasher enjoyed shots of some licorice tasting something (must’ve burned a few more brain cells as I don’t remember what it actually was).

Bright and early the next morning it turned out we’d pitched our tent in the direct line of sunrise… noooooo!!!!!!!! I’m still sleepy! So the Evers got up around 7, took their car down the road to their cabin and brewed a couple pots of coffee to take back to the rest of the group along with some muffins and bagels. But it was 10:30 before the hardiest partiers began materializing. Around noon or so a group drove in to Harrison to buy out the Harrison Store ice supply – they came back after spending $50 on ice (it had all melted again by the next morning). At 2 Everhard took off to start laying trail, though there was much whining and grumbling that the trail should be delayed until at least 6pm. But as the hare and the GM, all protests were overruled and with help the pack was nudged into following (though the hare had at least a 30 minute head…who said head… start). With my assurance to them that it was a short trail… and an easy trail through a meadow… many donned flip-flops and sandals rather than running shoes. I had doubts that many would have ever left the comforts of the beer keg if they’d had to wear actual shoes.

Yes, the trail led the pack through a meadow (of sorts), but it also included much noxious knapweed and many wild rose bushes… oops! Because of the less than enthusiastic approach to following trail by some of the hounds, it took longer than it should have, but we eventually got everyone to through the trail to the beer stop and on back … the Beast dragging along a Barbie house for trail treasure that looked more like a crack house and Anal Whistler wearing the hare’s hash shorts on his head like a turban… fortunately Everhard had skivvies so he didn’t sunburn. And then it was on down to the dock where everyone made it into the water at least once and circle was held over until later in the campout. The water was refreshing and Boner took many of the group out on his boat or dragged them behind by a rope… on some sort of floatie tube thing, of course… though he probably would’ve enjoyed pulling bodies around the lake without floatation devices.

Dinner was barbecued burgers and dogs plus many pot luck side dishes. Scratch-n-Sniff showed up long enough to grill our burgers and dogs plus offer Yucca all around, and then she disappeared into the night with other “more important” obligations calling her away. After “good grease”, the group assembled to learn a new card game called Asshole (I’m sure it could have had a different name and still been the same game) with playing cards the size of file folders… easier for the inebriated to identify their cards. It was actually a fun game and continued on long into the night – though the playing group dwindled as the night progressed. About 2 or 3am Everhard was rummaging around to get the fly on the tent because of the lightning flashing in the distance and later we heard the pitter patter of raindrops on nylon. The nice part of it was that the sunrise wasn’t blinding at 6am… we slept till almost 7 because the pitter patter continued. We eventually got up and headed off to bring back coffee and the rest of the muffins and bagels from the day before. And because of the cooler temperature that accompanied the rain there were many that didn’t roll out of their tents till near 11.

The Beast volunteered to lay trail through the campground tent sites for a “hangover trail” Sunday after the cloudy skies cleared… and the pack followed a trail of cheddar goldfish crackers to the beer. It was a good trail and the beer stops (two) had good shade… the wetness of the morning had completely dissolved into a muggy sauna and then turned to clear blue skies and hot, hot sizzling sunny rays. Circle commenced and was drawn out until there was nary a drop of liquid amber left to be consumed. The highlight of the down-downs was to award New Boot Stephanie with a fitting hash name. That long Rapunzel mane of hair had the pack offering up many wonderful names… but there was also the full endowment feature that played into the packs’ devious minds. With nearly a confirmation on “Tail Treasure” there was an overwhelming pack endorsement to Boner’s sudden inspiration for “Tail of Two Titties”! So for now and evermore (or until a re-naming) New Boot Stephanie will be known as Tail of Two Titties! After circle, the group proceeded to break camp… some headed home and some headed back to the Ever’s dock for one or two last dips in the lake. Then all was quiet again.

Well all you no shows,

Here's the poop on the trail: (From the eyes of the hare)

Hounds gathered at bowl and pitcher, with some having a rough time finding the parking lot. Its almost easier to say who was not there than who was,,, the pack was filled with virgins, new boots, back sliders and a no feces, a dog. This kennel had NO RA, OnSec, Hare Raiser, and maturity. Some arrived with a visual BAC that makes you question what job they could have possibly come from on a Thursday. Trail was laid with a large turkey eagle split to rally on BS near the rivers edge. A winding rivers edge trail should return the pack to circle with few problems. Chick checks, Virgin checks, false trails, Hash holds, and some shiggy will surely mix it up in the end. As the hare sat on an overlook to see the debauchery, he never thought he would see what comes next. Two virgins are first in sight, but how could this be? They must have blown right through the chick check. Silly virgins. But wait, now they blow through the hash hold. What could the replacement RA have told them? Find flour,,, go? Next is Everready but she's not on trail. She came in from the out portion of trail. Surely a trail vet such as this has an explanation. Then a New boots shows on true trail but has to blow through the hash holds and chick checks since the pack was no longer. The pack was now individuals returning on three different paths. The hare could only drink his beer and say WTF as hounds poured in from all possible compass headings.

From here on out the hare can only relay the stories that were told:

The pack took off across the bridge and found trail without problem. Hounds wine about the Alaskan state birds attacking with no remorse. Hounds speak of running despite the lack of oxygen to try and outrun mosquitoes. It is not even possible to count the bites on Valenteeny's ass. The hare did not make this public to everyone but hooked up a few of the veterans with some bug dope.

Apparently at the BS, our "dog" sits/lies and becomes unresponsive. I am not a veternarian, but when a dog does a mile run and can not pant,,, I would call that heat stroke. So, the stroking wiener dog is put on ice and carried out with several hounds backtracking Turkey split. This dog has a name but this event seems to call for a renaming of Stroking Wiener.

Two virgins leave the BS whilst others consumed, but then return and and go on rouge to find trail somewhere else. One boots follows true trail by the river and several other hounds return by running the eagle split backwards. WTF? I still need a bigger head (who said) to understand this. So, the best part of the trail is missed do to stoking wieners, mosquito phobia, virgin thought processes, and a lemming mob mentality. And somehow we all laugh and sing about it.

In circle we had veterans with head (who said) gear, gift giving of a foreign (yes other country) hash shirt to our GM, birthday songs, and a great view of the river. Our very own Valenteeny Ass is getting older(as are the rest of us). The debauchery only grows in circle as the mob takes on a life of its own and the RA looses control. When the dust settles it was all a good time with smiles all around.

It is written, so it is fact. This hash is ended, MAY THE HASH GO IN PEACE!

Or, Drive down doomsday, under TJ Meenach bridge, past Downriver golfcourse, past sewage treatment, Bowl and Pitcher will be on the left. I will be parked in the top parking lot as soon as I can. Mismanagment - 01.22.09

Chia Crack, Ever-Spreader, Everready, Everhard, and Party-Stick were hashers in attendance at last night’s mismanagement meeting. Pizza and beer were consumed. GM Everhard asked for input for a red dress run as well as the possibility of another campout this summer. The campout idea has been tabled for input from other hashers. The red dress run has been unanimously agreed on for Feb 7, but we need a hare and venue. (The attending hare raiser said we have no hares volunteered for any upcumming trails after this Saturday’s run, which is to be hared by the GM). Also discussed was whether to try and do some sort of red dress “souvenir”. T-shirts were tossed aside, shorts were a maybe. On a previous occasion Pink Pecker had expressed interest in gloves that were not the huge cotton variety we’ve had in the past, so Everready suggested we do that. Time is of the essence, however, in getting this done in the next four weeks and I agreed to “head” this project up. Who have we used in the past for screen printing? They have our logo stuff? Do they have apparel or do I find that elsewhere? The Colorado InterAmericas Hash was mentioned as well as the Edmonton 1000 Run Hash. Everhard will be unavailable for approximately four weeks mid-February to mid-March. Meeting adjourned approximately 7:15. ON-ON!

Hash #531 - Illinois Bar Tail of the Trail

It was a cold and blustery Saturday---actually it wasn't that cold and it definitely wasn't blustery. About a dozen harty Hashers showed up at a secret location in the northwest part of Spokane. It must have been a secret because a lot of Hashers never showed up. We left the bar at the anounced starting time of 2:45 PM. After a short ice talk, we milled around for about five minutes until trail was found across the street. After several short back checks, we headed south. There was not a back 69, but I am sure if you added up all the back checks they would total 69.

We headed down over the hill to the railroad tracks as a planned sledding hill. The sledding was great if you didn't mind a little mud and a few big rocks. We continued on across a retaining wall (though several hounds whimped out and stayed on the Centennial Trail) to the Avista parking lot where this nice blond bimbo offered us sone beer and hot dogs.

After a short break we were back on trail… well sort of. We had a little trouble going around Mission Park – maybe it was the turkey/eagle split or maybe it was just half-a-mind hashers. Finally we arrived at the Gonzaga campus in time to mingle with the basketball fans arriving for a game. After climbing over a larger than average snow pile, we made it to the Bulldog Tavern for a quick brew. From there it was a round-a-bout way to the On-In, back at the Illinois.

The Hashers in attendance were Anal Remorse, at least 3 Evers, Boner, Valenteeny, Bev, Waffle Nuts, Party Stick (with leftover Costco Belgian chocolates from Spokane Discount), The Beast, Defloured, new boot Jen, our hare 3-Dogs and the Hot dog lady. There may have been others, but I don't remember. Sometimes I don't remember if I was there.

To the best of my memory, Terminator

Pink Pecker showed up after the hash during circle and we even had a spectator ask to join the circle so we awarded him with a down-down song. The double-D mug was a bit much for the guy and he unknowingly removed the vessel from his lips. When told he’d have to pour the beer “on him” he dribbled a little onto his shoes. Oh well, he wasn’t instructed properly before his song.

The head (wo)man. The chairman of the board. The big cheese. The HMFIC. The guiding light. Gispert's legacy. The GM is not simply a figure head (see GM emeritus) for the hash. Rather (s)he personifies the hash's character (or lack thereof.) He/she leads with a dynamic strength that permeates the fabric of the organization. Both directly, and through his/her officers, he/she gives inspiration, direction, and vision to all. This position ranks only below Beermeister, Hash Cash, Hare Raiser and Hash Harlot in real importance to the hash.

Grand Masters Emeritus: Beaver (Open for Nominations)

These tired old men are the past Grand Masters of the IE3H. We treat them as the relics they are, frequently checking for vital life signs. We treasure and love these artifacts of the past despite their cantankerous personalities.

On Sec: Spooner Boy

This position is the masochist's dream. He struggles with piles of papers, miles of computer wire, and attempts to occasionally produce a Hash Trash to keep the hash members reasonably informed. He is the IEH3 official scribe wherein he spreads the word of the Inland Empire via e-mail. The On-Sec also maintains the hash membership data base and publishes a generally unreliable and inaccurate Hound Directory.

Hare Raiser: Chea Crack

This is the hasher who lines up the hares for future hashes. He makes sure that there is a hare for each hash, that virgin hares have veteran co-hares, finds out the start location of the hash and gets that information to the On-Sec for posting in the Hash Trash and placement onto the Hareline recording. If the Hare Raiser should fail to find a hare for the next hash - he gets stuck doing it himself. Poetic justice.

Hash Cash: Valenteenie Ass

(S)he's he holder of the purse-strings. Someone needs to dash about the start of each hash begging for money. Someone has to keep track of what comes in and what goes out (commonly referred to as "the old in and out.") These generally unappreciated duties fall on the shoulders of the Hash Cash. This trustworthy soul must withstand the whining of the Hares who have overspent, the whimpering of those who forgot their fees, and the interrogations of those who mistakenly think there should be some sort of accounting for hash funds. The Hash Cash also acts as Hash Haberdasher, procuring and selling items of apparel to the hash.

Hash Horn: Smokie The Tuna (Open for Nominations)

Equipment requirements: A bugle, cornet, trumpet, French horn, trombone, or tuba. Performance venue: The hash trail. Musical ability: Uncertain.

Hash Mouth: (Open for Nominations)

The hash mouth runs the official business at the On-On with an iron hand. He must be loud, clear, passionate, articulate, and possess an uncommon ability to think on his feet. It also helps if he speaks English.

Hash Flash: Squirt

The person who captures on film for posterity all embarrassing moments from the hashes. The hash flash must have an acute sense of the absurd to know what to take photos of, and also a small degree of reliability to bring a camera, film, take pictures, have them developed, and put only the finest thereof into the sacred photo album.

Beermeister: (Open for Nominations)

This is unquestionably the most important position in the hash. The Beermeister has the weighty responsibility of making sure that the lifeblood of hashing is available at each and every hash event. He keeps constant vigilance to find the cheapest spirituous fermenti available, always has coolers in the trunk of his car, cases of beer in his garage, and reliably returns the empty keg between the On-On and On-On-On. This job requires a strong back and a weak mind.

Keeper of the Hashit (Haberdasher): Pink Pecker

This is arguably the most complicated position within the hash hierarchy. The responsibility surrounds custody of a large cardboard box filled with the flotsam and jetsam of past hashes. Precisely why this crap is retained is a mystery shrouded in the mythology of hashdom. However, the hashit itself rarely makes it to the hash, although the custodian is usually there himself. This reinforces the argument that remembering to bring the hashit is probably beyond the cognitive ability of your average hasher.

Songmeister: Topless Barbie (Open for Nominations)

This is a hasher with no self-respect. He never lacks for a song suitable to the occasion. His songs are risqué, lewd, and vulgar. The Songmeister speaks with other hashers and hashes to acquire songs to add to the hash hymnal. His mission is to explore new tunes and new celebrations. To boldly go where no Songmeister has gone before (pardon the split infinitive.)

Religious Advisor: Beast Masterbater

(S)he's the keeper of the faith and enforcer of the holy hash scriptures. This is the hasher who has seen the light (Bud light) and can taste in his soul the true spirit of hashing. The religious advisor spreads the word and inspires the zest and zeal of the hash in all participants. Any hasher found transgressing the spirit of hashing is disciplined by the RA. He is the keeper of the sacred Laws of Hashing and comes up with sufficiently plausible lies to cover any serious questions of propriety of actions within the hash.

Hash Harlot: (Open for Nominations)

A trashy wench who has seen the dark side of hashing and likes it! One with a lust for life who revels in being the butt of the jester's ribald wit, the object of the songster's bawdy lyric, and the centerpiece of sensual repartee at all hash functions.

Webmasterbater: Squirt

Computer geek who tries to keep the masses informed by updating information on the Super Highway we call the Web. Has a most perplexing job due to the natural desire to link every other word to XXX pictures and smut pages they have found (by accident) on the Web.

Ah the first IEH3 HASH of the fall on a Saturday…brisk, slight wind, the musky smell of the flora and fauna returning to the earth to start the process of rejuvenation, fertilizing the soil for another…what the hell? Beaver does that after a few beers and a nice trail-get on with it already!

14 hearty hounds, two vestal HASH virgins and two nimble and funloving hares met at the Corner Club for beers, flour and fun Why is was the IEH #524 Hawaiian/Lets All Get Layed Theme HASH just for the BEAV. NOTE ONE--when raining on HASH day the need for more flour/chalk grows tenfold as sometimes the shit gets washed away.

So the pack heads (who said) our for circle. NOTE TWO--when trying to hold chalk talk in the muddy rainy parking lot, improvise and mark on wood found in the dumpster—the reason that JPFBH is RA the dude thinks on his feet for the good of the Pack.

SO, finally pack is away searching north, east, west and south for trail—those who were stupid enough (yes me) to cross Trent to find no marks and turn to see the pack going back in the Corner Club realize that check sucking should be initiated at all checks starting with the first…rumor has it that due to heavy precipitation in the area perhaps marks may disappear in as little as 20 minutes and need to be auto re-marked-See NOTE ONE above.

SO, back for additional hoppy encouragement prior to going out again to find trail. NOTE THREE—if HASH Cash is the Hare be sure to have a worthy keeper of cash in case such emergencies as re-beering occur! Thanks Pink!!!!!!!

FINALLY on trail beautiful blue and yellow double marks are found and lead the pack on a architecture and canine tour of NE SpoCanada Valley. The sly hares utilized numerous checks, back checks and HASH holds in order not to be engulfed by the now rabid pack fueled by beer and thus not realizing that it is somewhat difficult to catch a four cylinder hare when only using foam injected scrawny leg power…

The pack finally whiffed the precious bounty of beer and ‘Ritas with a little Yucca for good measure—(thanks Scratch) thrown in for a scenic BS overlooking the Spokane River in McMansion row across from Boulder Beach. Due to the weary hares and even wearier and blurry eyed hounds the BS was enjoyed with numerous imbibements of flavored goodness. The Hawaiian chips were a nice touch too. So was Uncle Pervy’s gourd which was passed around and discussed about the cost benefit ration of a straight gourd versus a curved gourd…someone mentioning curved hitting the spot? Of course all of the wankers at this point were oblivious…

The pack returned for Down Downs and there was much rejoicing and some non-condoning of the art of HASH Down Downs by the purveyor of the establishment. NOTE FOUR—A responsible owner of a pub in the state of WA can not condone the practice of drinking alcoholic beverages within the confines of said such establishment in a manner which is quick in consuming, fast in inbibing, chugging in nature, quaffing with speed or swallowing with fleetness of said alcoholic beverages as that is a promotion of…fun had by all that enter the sacred Circle for their rightful offenses. Down Downs were completed for transgressions and other such deeds and trail treasure---which brings us to the point of a newly named harriette within the IEH3 pack. NB Sam while returning to the pub found a instrument of fairly massive proportion with a purpose of cleaning the internal portion of long cylindrical objects (pipe cleaner of industrial size) and thus after much debating, NB Sam will forever be known as Anal Remorse. Thanks to the Hares Valenteenie Ass and Chilly Cheeks for a fun trail—and cumming back to re-lay the washed away marks and the hounds that completed IEH3 #524—Beaver, Chia Crack, Defloured, EverHard, EverReady, EverSpreader, Just Plain *uckin Bone Her, Party Stick, Scratch n Sniff, Three Dogs *ucking, Uncle Pervy, Anal Remorse and Virgin Jen and Virgin Chris.

Welcome to the re-HASH of the #523 IEH HASH at the Swamp—the awesome, opened again venue on the outskirts of SpoKanada and Browne’s Addition!

A beautiful Thursday evening for hounds to follow trail wherever it may lead…

Nineteen brave souls were led out by 2 hare extraordinaires for a nice little visit to places near and far in the western portion of the downtown area—hell if we got lucky we might even overru* the Friggin Flyin Irish on this last IEH3 Thursday Trail for the year. Yep, daylight gettin slimmmer, beer bellies getting bigger, time to change to more daylight and thus more foam and trail time.

Trail was laid—very cleverly, CLEARLY, expertly and with fun for the pack in mind. Led by Rancid Nuts, Beaver, Schlongus and Lucky Balls the pack easily found marks after numerous falsies…Trail meandered aimlessly BUT down from the Swamp arriving at the base of Latah Creek for a quick jaunt across the bridge into Peoples and High Bridge Park. Scenic marks were placed for maximal potential to meet some new friends in the woods if desired—some might even have handcuffs or official titles within City Government or… Although the marks were numerous, and again many falsies laid true trail was sniffed out by experienced hounds Topless Barbie and Puss N Boots with the assistance of Buggy Butt and Deep in the Pockets. Marks directed the pack to the “Guy who stole a shitload of money from people in the Inland Empire and is now selling Real Estate in Arizona ” Bridge for a nice Turkey/Eagle split. Of course Pilfering Peter Sponge Bob No Pants takes pride in his “Fly Like an Eagle” ability bailed off along the river while Staff Infected not wanting to bust his ass on the shiggy trail takes the Turkey . As the 2 FRB’s haul balls our—Pilfering literally and to the…delight of ??????? Others in the pack follow aimlessly as all HASHers should--only to take it in the ass with a back 77 (why 77? Cuz it is ate more than 69-Huh!!!!!!) So the tried and trued professional and experienced hashers Princess Grace, Eat n Run, Foamy and Huck lead the now tired pack—poor suckers back to true trail heading—who said—up, up and up some more to Brownes Addition from the northside. By now with the pack strung out and needing beer Yeah Sure Ya Betcha along with Likesem Stiff, ProPoke and Box Wacker—being smarter hashers—head—who said to the Elk—I mean we have been on trail for 12 miles and 3 hours the beer stop has to be close!!!!! But nope the hares are not done with their torturous and diabolical trail. A diversion is found with stairs going straight up in the direction of CdA park in the heart of Browne’s. If not for the beer sniffing abilities of Scratch n Sniff, Lickem n Stickem, Just Depends, Captain Kirkoff and NB Vilma the pack might have hooked up with the Irish. The flour and marks led the parched pack to the BS just off of CdA Park . As it was dark by now after hours and hours of uplifting trees bushes and flowers Anal Whistler, Backdoor Tucker, Magically Cliticious, Pussy Peddler, Hefner, Frightened Turtle, Blows Hard, GI Jugs, Fucking Incouragable, Great Stuff-Easy Trim, Hefner, Jack Ass, Sleazbag, Sexy Bitch, Slo Pee, Smokey the Tuna, Spewer, Three Dogs *uckin, Will Work for Food and Will Work for Sex did a collective search and found the beer located hanging off the Sunset Bridge and after fighting off the folks that live in the van down by the river and in the boxes, also down by the river brought the hoppy bounty back to the house that Hot Rod built!!!!!!!!!! Numerous bottles of beer were consumed, stories of trail treasure, shiggy adventures and new acquaintances made the pack moved back to the Swamp for circle. At circle the collective pack proclaimed that they had just been on the best trail ever laid in the history of IEH3. There was much rejoicing in honor of the hares-Virgin Hare HOT ROD and wily veteran dipshit SPOONER BOY. So just a little word of advice, as heard by your humble scribe, for the rest of the pack that unfortunately did not see fit to make this trail… Chia Crack, Chilly Cheeks, Defloured, Everhard, Everready, Everspreader, Just Plain *uckin Bone Her, Kanookie, Moonbeams, Party Stick, Squirt, Terminator, The Beast Masterbator, Uncle Pervy, Valenteenie Ass, Wafflenuts, Whiskey Snatch, NB Sam and Virgin Leslie—YOU ALL MISSED A GREAT TRAIL…ON ON submitted with the usual integrity and truth as best recalled in a dazed, hazed and confused state by your humble scribe Spoonered.

A lovely day to HASH—cool weather, hail, rain and rainbows—did you know that if you have a double rainbow that the colors are reversed? Yep take a peek the next time!

Thirteen hardy hounds decided they had nothing better to do on a Thursday night than follow flour on a Scratch and Sniff Trail. Of course, being that it was a Thursday night and had rained, hailed and was cool, what does the pack of the IEH3 do—they check suck even before the start, downing several extra pitchers of foam prior to deciding to go find the hare. After searching for flour, trail was eventually found heading—who said—south towards the river a crafty hare who recently completed the Spokane-to-Sandpoint (yes she and other participants drank a down-down for their transgressions) took the pack on a nice leisurely run out in the fields and roads of east SpoCanada Valley, turn left, turn right, turn left…check suck here, check suck there and hope to hell there is still some beer somewhere…trail eventually was found through a recently cut field to a perfect beer stop along the river looking across to Liberty Lake—guess someone is in the Ironman training mode already! Beer was consumed although a few in the pack decided to take a more leisurely approach to following trail. As Beav, Chilly Cheeks, Terminator and Chia Crack were found playing in the hay as the front runnin bastards and biotches all were on back to the Bayou…the trail beers were shared with the lolly gaggers and they enjoyed the 3 slips of backwash from the Beast and others.

On In it was and circle was held on the patio…with the RA (JPFBH) deciding well if I can not make it to the trail at least I get to do at least one or three down downs for showing up to Circle. Down-downs were completed for the usual transgressions: backsliding, participating in extra curricular *unning activities (team Beast Van #2 did IEH3 proud by consuming 3 cases of beer in 28 hours 44 minutes on the Spokane-to-Sandpoint Relay) and although Scratch did not consume that much she gained the irk of her team by “drinking beer” prior to the relay AND had more while on the *un—On On!!

Yep, those F-ing Irish have a strangle hold on Thursdays but give them 20 years and a desire to DRINK before YOU RUN philosophy and they might just survive. (What is it now 3 years going before it snows and they must quit – PRICELESS!! – Not much of a PUB CLUB, I say) Hashers are DRINKERS – 365 DAYS!!!!!

SO A BIG ON ON,TO THOSE THAT HASH AND KEEP THIS KENNEL GOING! Because when you travel the WORLD you can find a HASH. But where will you find a “we always run from here, and you get discounts on beer if you wear our shirt” kind of place. Yep that works only in SpokaVagas!! Doesn’t Boo Radley’s already have their true SHIRT??????

(SCRIBES NOTE: if Peter didn’t piss us off at a Climb A Mountain Relay a few years back by saying “Thanks but I hashed here and didn’t like it” I wouldn’t rip on the IRISH as Much!!! So in this election year, I will try and scribe trail #517.

Let’s just call this the loopy loop trail. From the Hanger lot, around the Handy-Cap re-laid mark, Beast conducted the CHALK TALK. Yes, we failed to name that artistic work of Beaver and Beast with a proper naming for the embellished wheel chair logo – Flaming Axle anyone?

From the check we found marks here and there, as usual. True trail was sniffed by Magically, as we meandered this and that and shit. Finally, the pack solved the check at 57th, which was across from the marks. Damn, those tricky hares. On Down we went for after many ups, downs, lefts, rights, a short right, and down again. Yes it was a fun filled cluster FUCK and not a designed route that those F-ing Irish would enjoy. Sorry I digress again.

Trail left a timely Virgin Check with Travis going South – yes, downhill is best and April chugging to the East for TRUE TRAIL. Hope they will both come back again, along with Mitsy.

April guided the way to the BS where PBR, Mike’s Shooters, and Grub was enjoyed. Oh yeah, a scathing of Pink’s place to find Trail Treasure before we hit On In.
